Came to Texas in 1843, Abshire Book by Earl Travis Hill. Had 10
children. Additional information from Louisiana St Martin records.

19. Solomon WEED

Information from Bobby P. Weed, Ft. Worth, Texas Is listed as an applicant for 1st Class land grant 1838 in Texas of course. Sabine Co, Texas Board of Land Commissioners; claimed date of emigration 1834. Maybe this Solomon was a son of Joseph instead of Benjamin Sr. (bobs notes)
Listed on 1846 Tax list in Liberty County, Texas.

Solomon was about 2 1/2 months when christened in Jan 1828, so the above could not be him, he would have been 7 years old in 1834, and 11 in 1838. Obviously, the above is not the same Solomon. I am inclined to agree with Bobby WEED's supposition that this older Solomon might have been a son of Joel's.
